Big Time Rush is an American pop-punk band was founded in the year 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first contract with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television series, Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28th in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured "Big Time Rush" The group's initial single for promotion. Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011) as well as 24/Seven (2013). The group in 2014 was on break for an indefinite time that ran through 2021.
